Friends of Tye Preston Memorial Library’s (TPML) Annual Book Sale runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2.
$10 buys a bag of books — “Tons of Genres, Classics and Bestsellers and Thousands of Titles” — at the annual fundraiser at the library, 16311 S. Access Rd., Canyon Lake.
TPML receives most of its funding from 1/2 to 1% of local sales taxes collected within the Library District and can’t afford fundraising activities.
Funds raised by Friends through membership dues, fundraising activities and bookstore sales allow TPML to develop and maintain programs that enrich the educational and cultural needs of the Canyon Lake community.
