21st Annual Fun Fish Event

Fun Fish is right around the corner and Water Oriented Recreation District of Comal Counare planning for another spectacular fishing event for kiddos ages 3 -16 yrs. old. The date is set for Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Camp Huaco Springs located at 4150 River Rd. Registration and educational stations open at 10:30am (fishing tournament starts at noon).

TPWD will stock the river and ponds with over 2,000 fish the morning of the event. There will be cash prizes for catching a tagged fish and trophies awarded for the longest fish caught. Pretty sweet huh?!

All registered participants will receive a free t-shirt, loaner fishing pole, bait, and tackle – bring your own pole if you have one. Free lunch for everyone! Pretty sweet huh?! We thought so too.
