Tickets to the Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country’s Annual Winterfest Luncheon, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 22 at Tye Preston Memorial Library, 16311 S. Access Rd., Canyon Lake, are now available online.

The event is a fundraiser and includes lunch, raffle, silent auction and more. To purchase a $15 ticket, click here.

The museum, located on 25 acres midway between Startzville and Sattler on FM 2673,  protects and preserves over 200 dinosaur footprints and 28 separate trackways laid down by dinosaurs of the early Cretaceous period in the upper Glen Rose Formation approximately 110 million years ago.

Included in its collection are Cretaceous-era fossils and Native American artifacts.

This year, organizers hope to complete development of the Everett and Carolyn Deschner Learning Center, which will serve as a new educational building and outdoor classroom.
