Community Resource and Recreation Center of Canyon Lake (CRRC) today announced plans for a charity fundraiser on May 21 at Lakeside Golf Club, 405 Watts Lane, Canyon Lake.
“This isn’t about being a golfer,” said CRRC Recreation Director Kenneth Allen Hack-Alonso. “This is about coming out and having a good time, laughter, breaking bread and directly impacting the community. Heck, the last golf tournament I donated more balls in the woods than all the players donated for the CRRC Food Pantry.”
He said the charity hopes 30 teams will sign up.
One-hundred percent of all funds raised go directly to the CRRC.
