Comal County’s Recycling and Chipping Center brush yard is at full capacity and is closed.
Brush now in the yard is being chipped and turned into mulch, which will be available at no charge to residents.
Vehicles must have a tarp to cover the load.
The yard, located at 281 Resource Dr., New Braunfels, is expected to reopen to the public on May 31.
Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday though Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
