Comal County today reopened the brush yard at its Recyling and Chipping Center, 281 Resource Dr., New Braunfels.
The yard closed at capacity on May 3 and had been expected to reopen on May 31.
Free mulch is available. Residents should bring a tarp to cover mulch loads.
The center’s normal business hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday – Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
