The Water Oriented Recreation District of Comal County (WORD) will extend hours of operation for Comal and Canyon parks on Easter weekend, March 30-31.
Updated hours for Comal Park are 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with last entry at 6 p.m.
Updated hours for Canyon Park are 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with last entry allowed at 6 p.m. Swim beaches #1 and #2 are closed.
These parks close at capacity. Check Facebook for updates.
Cascarones and confetti eggs are not allowed.
Comal Pak is a 116-acre park located on Canyon Lake’s south shore.
The 485-acre Canyon Park is located on the north shore of the lake.
For visitors, these parks are the best and easiest way to access the shoreline.
