The Water Oriented Recreation District of Comal County (WORD) sponsors the First Annual Comal Park Field Day from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31.
The park is located at 1178 Comal Park Road on the south side of Canyon Lake.
“This is an end-of-summer blowout with lots to do for the entire family,” WORD said on Facebook.
Activities for people of all ages include inflatables like a bounce house and water slide, a rock-climbing tower “to test vertical skills,” sports games, axe throwing, and other sports activities.
The event is free but entrance fees to the park are $5 for vehicles registered in Comal County and $20 for all other vehicles.
Participants must sign a waiver of liability.
