Monday, Oct. 7, is the deadline to register to vote or update voter registration for the Nov. 5 general election.

LWVCA will register voters and provide nonpartisan election information from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Mammen Family Public Library, 131 Bulverde Crossing, Bulverde.
The deadline to apply for a ballot by mail is Oct. 25.
To be eligible to vote by mail you must be 65 years or older, sick or disabled, out of the county during early voting and election day, in jail or involuntary civil confinement but otherwise eligible to vote, or expecting to give birth within three weeks before or after election day.
