The water tower on FM 3424 across from Canyon Lake High School (CLHS) will get a fresh coat of paint and a green-and-gold logo added to its side, “formally designating Hawk Country for all the world to see.”

Comal County Pct. 4 Commissioner Jen Crownover made the announcement in a statement today.

She said the Hawks logo will face the school’s stadium.

“I want to formally thank (The Texas Water Company) President Aundrea Williams and the team at TWC for being open to the idea of celebrating our community and to (CLHS Principal) Mr. Mark Oberholtzer for seizing this opportunity and covering all of the necessary details to get this wonderful project underway,” Crownover said.

The water tower is slated for routine maintenance sometime later this year. No timeline for the project was set.
