Maintenance work on Canyon Lake Boat Ramp #2 is running ahead of schedule and its parking area will reopen Thursday, June 26.
Crews installed bollards to replace road barricades.
The county-operated ramp is located at 2410 Colleen Dr. in Canyon Lake Village West.
Boat Ramp #5 also is ready to reopen, the county said.
Due to low lake levels, launching motorized watercraft from any Canyon Lake boat ramp is still banned.
However, kayakers and canoers and others can use the ramps to launch non-motorized vessels.
