Former Comal ISD Art Teacher Charged with Four Counts of Trafficking, Sexual Assault and Indecency with Student

A former Comal ISD art teacher who allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with an underage boy at a construction site in October 2024 today faces felony charges of sex trafficking a person from school, sexual assault with a child and two counts of indecency with a child sexual contact.

Davenport High School art teacher Jennifer Massey, 51, was booked into Comal County Jail today and released on $100,000 in personal bonds.

The Selma resident will be prosecuted by the Comal County District Attorney’s Office in the 433rd District Court.

Comal County Sheriff’s deputies responding to reports of a suspicious person Oct. 3, 2024 discovered Massey with the child at a home under construction in the 22,000 block of Citadel Pt. in Garden Ridge.

She was placed under arrest and charged with improper relationship between educator and student, a second-degree felony.

Massey was an art teacher at Danville Middle School before transferring to the high school in August 2024, where her alleged victim was enrolled as a freshman.
