A flood watch is now in effect for Comal County from midnight Thursday through 6 a.m. Friday.
A storm system will move across the area bringing locally heavy rainfall late Wednesday night through early Friday.
Rainfall totals of between one to three inches, with local amounts up to six inches, are forecast.
Excessive runoff may cause flooding in rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying, flood-prone areas.
