The U.S. Army Corps of EngineersĀ (USACE) will perform an annual inspection of Canyon Lake’s dam, outlet works, conduit and flood-control gates sometime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, temporarily cutting off water releases.
This could inconvenience downstream users.
In a statement, USACE said the closure is necessary to ensure a thorough and safe inspection.
