Saturday looks soggy with a 90-percent chance of rain so the Easter Bunny visited WORD of Comal County’s headquarters on FM 306 today to make backup plans.

If the ground gets too wet, WORD’s Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Comal Park — the area’s largest  — will move to a drive-thru format or organizers will change the hours.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4 and is free with park admission, $5 for vehicles with Comal County registration and $20 for anyone registered outside the county.

The Easter egg hunt begins promptly at 10 a.m. with separate areas for different age groups to ensure everyone finds plenty of treats.

Fun includes petting zoo, bouncy house, face painting, music, yard games — and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Bring your own basket!
