Canyon Lake resident Michelle Feller was sworn in as Comal County auditor May 26.
The New Braunfels High School and Texas Lutheran University graduate worked for the state Auditor’s Office for over 30 years.
She is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor with expertise in financial and performance audits with state agencies, universities and school districts.
“As county auditor, Michelle serves as an important part of Commal County’s checks-and-balances system,” said county spokesperson Cary Zayas. “Appointed by the state’s district judges, the position maintains independent oversight of the books and records of all county officials.”
Feller and husband Chris are the proud parents of daughter Krissie.
