Comal County issued a mandatory evacuation order today for all areas along the Guadalupe River from the county line at Guadalupe River State Park to FM 311.
Anyone in this area should leave immediately, along with pets and essential medications.
Spring Branch Middle School, 21053 FM 46, has opened as a shelter. Call 830-387-7449 for more information.
“Do not wait to see how conditions develop,” county spokesperson Cary Zayas said on social media. “Leave while roads are still passable. Do not drive through any roads that are already flooded.”

As of 5 p.m. flow rates on the Guadalupe River at the FM 311 bridge were 3,800 cfs and the river was at 8.75 feet.
By 10 p.m. water will reach 40 feet at 86,500 cfs.
Canyon Lake continues to rise and could reach full pool by Sunday night.
