The Comal County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) today identified the man whose body was recovered from Canyon Lake near Canyon Park Road Sunday as 40-year-old Wimberley resident Robert Allen Chapman.
CCSO Public Information Officer Shawn Trevino said circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation and declined to release any further information.
Next of kin has been notified.
Canyon Park Road is on the north side of the lake near Canyon Lake Marina and Canyon Park.
