A “whopping” 48.2% of registered Comal County voters have cast ballots in the 2024 Nov. 5 general election.
On social media, county Public Information Officer Cary Zayas urged voters to keep the momentum going.
“Your vote matters,” she said.
On Tuesday, 7,612 residents showed up at the polls and 24 mail-in ballots were received.
There are 143,696 registered voters in the county.
As of Tuesday, 69,263 registered voters had cast ballots. The cumulative percentage of residents who voted in person and by mail is 48.2%.
