Artwork by CLHS Senior Featured at Educators’ Virtual Convention

Artwork by Canyon Lake High School senior Alexis Hettinger was exhibited at the Texas Art Education Association’s Virtual TASA/TASB Exhibit this fall.
Comal ISD was one of 63 school districts within the state selected to be represented in the exhibit, showcased at the Texas Association of School Administrators & Texas Association of School Boards Virtual Convention.
The exhibit ran from Set. 30 to Oct. 2.
“This is quite an honor for our Fine Arts department,” said Carla Schumann, Comal ISD’s director of fine arts. “We are proud of these students and excited to offer opportunities like this one to showcase their talent.
The work of seven other Comal ISD students also was included in the exhibit.
