Birders, Join the Big Sit on Saturday

See how many birds you can spot from within a 17-foot circle on Saturday at the Big Sit at Guadalupe River State Park in Spring Branch.
Friends of Guadalupe River State Park in Spring Branch and Honey Creek State Natural Area sponsor a Big Sit from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the park, 3350 Park Rd 31.
Described as a tailgate party for birders, the Big Sit is part of the Great Birding Classic. It involves counting as many birds as possible from within a 17-foot circle.
Volunteers and staff will be on hand to share their love of birding and, binoculars. For the record, GRSP’s group is known as the Guadalupe River Raptors team.
