Budget Workshop, Curry Nature Center and ESDs on Commissioners Court Agenda Thursday

Comal County Commissioners Court has scheduled a workshop meeting to discuss 2022 budget requests during its weekly meeting at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Commissioners Courtroom, 100 Main Plaza, New Braunfels.

Also on the agenda is a memorandum of agreement between the county and Comal Trails Alliance that would allow volunteers to install new trails, remove brush from trails, and maintain trails/paths within the James C. Curry Nature Center off of Skyline Dr. near the intersection of FM 2673 and River Road.

The court also will review the 2020 Annual Financial Reports for Comal County Emergency Service Districts, including ESD #3, Canyon Lake Fire/EMS. To review that report, click here.

• Discuss and consider approval of Treasurer’s Monthly Report for May 2021.
• Discuss and consider approval of revised Tax Office job descriptions.
• Discuss and consider approval of policy for county participation in agreements related to reinvestment zones by municipalities within Comal County.
• Discuss and consider approval of a memorandum to treat and control the spread of infectious disease across Texas through the U.S. federal government 340B Drug Pricing Program.
