Canyon Lake’s Tye Preston Memorial Library (TPML) closed to pollinators this spring.
The famed Butterfly Garden, butterfly effect sculpture and playground will be moved elsewhere “ahead of future expansion construction” for a new wing.
Tables/benches and StoryWalk also will find new homes on the premises.
“The area we are clearing will be the site of the new addition we are building on as part of the library expansion,” TPML said on social media. “This will be the primary construction focus during the initial phase of our expansion/renovation project. We will keep the community updated on future plans.”
