Comal County-operated Canyon Lake Boat Ramp #1 will close Thursday, May 8, through Friday, May 16, for upgrades.
Road crews will pour a new ramp and add riprap — loose stone — to prevent erosion and improve long-term safety.
The public is asked not to go around barriers and create safety hazards.
Boat Ramp #1 is located at 579 Skyline Dr.
All Canyon Lake boat ramps are closed to vessels except for non-motorized watercraft like canoes and kayaks.
