Comal County ESD No. 3, better known as Canyon Lake Fire/EMS, “with great enthusiasm” welcomed William “Max” Wright, MD, as its new assistant medical director today.
Dr. Wright is a 19-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran currently assigned to the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion in San Antonio.
He practices medicine at Dell Seton Medical Center in downtown Austin.
“His vision for the department and healthcare in general aligns with our mission to provide exceptional emergency medical services to the Canyon Lake community and its guests,” the fire department said in a statement.
