Canyon Lake High School’s Chloe Gray Wins Valero Alamo Bowl Scholarship

Canyon Lake High School senior Chloe Gray will receive a Valero Alamo Bowl Student-Athlete Scholarship worth $7,500.

She is one of six Comal ISD students who will be recognized on the field during the first quarter of the 33rd Annual Valero Alamo Bowl Game Dec. 30.

The scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, teacher/coach recommendations, involvement in extracurricular activities and a variety of sports, honors received, and a personal narrative.

To qualify, applicants need at least one varsity athletic letter from their school-sponsored sport.

Gray is a four-year varsity volleyball athlete and two-year captain who received Academic All-Star district all four years, as well as the Outstanding Setter of the District and First Team Academic All-State honors in her field.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, participates in peer-assisted learning strategies (PALS), and volunteers with the Spark Program for Ignite Volleyball Club.
