A Canyon Lake man was pronounced dead at the scene after his red 2016 Dodge Ram pickup left the roadway, struck a fence and utility pole, then rolled onto its passenger side around 8:20 a.m. today on State Highway 46 near South Cranes Mill Road.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officials said 60-year-old David James Bailey was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was headed west when the accident occurred.
Next of kin have been notified.
DPS is investigating the incident.
