A Canyon Lake man has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary of a habitation, six counts of witness tampering and obstruction or retaliation.
Terry Clark, 59, was sentenced to 20 years in prison by Judge Stephanie Bascon of the 466th District Court, according to a statement issued today by the Comal County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, which did not provide a sentencing date.
As part of his plea, the trial court made an affirmative finding that he used or exhibited a deadly weapon while committing the crimes.
He will serve at least half of his sentence before becoming eligible for parole.
Clark also was sentenced to 365 days of confinement in Comal County Jail after pleading true to allegations in the state’s motion to adjudicate.
He was on felony probation for assault when the crimes were committed.
