Get creative at Canyon Lake Paint Party, 1273 FM 2673 (by Anytime Fitness) in Sattler
Mitzi Vial’s new art studio offers painting classes for kids’ birthday parties, families, adult bring-your-own bottle parties, private parties and couples classes. She also face-paints for parties and provides graphic-design services. Parties can be scheduled at private homes and other venues.

Classes are 40-percent off through July. They’re designed to be fun, and are targeted mainly at beginners of all ages. Canvases are mostly “pre-traced.”
Vial, who’s lived in Starzville for five years, earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from Texas State University. She decided to open Canyon Lake Paint Party after teaching ‘paint-‘n-sip’ classes at Whimsy Art Studio in Stone Oak.
“The people are great, everyone’s joking around, I get to drink wine and to top all that I get to paint,” she says. “I’m very excited to open an art studio here in Sattler. We shouldn’t have to drive all the way to town to have a little fun.”
