Caravan of Cars, Trucks, Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

A caravan of cars and trucks flying Mexican and American flags wound its way through New Braunfels today.

A caravan of roughly 50 cars and trucks flying American and Mexican flags pulled out of the Kohl’s parking lot at SH 46 and I-35 this morning, driving slowly around the New Braunfels area.

No further details are available at this time, but videos announcing the event and following its progress through New Braunfels are posted to Ovalle DjMusic’s Facebook page.

Hispanic Heritage Month began on Sept. 15. Mexican Independence Day was celebrated on Sept. 16.

National Hispanic Heritage Month lasts from Sept. 15-Oct. 15 and recognizes the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
