The Crisis Center of Comal County has been awarded a new grant to fund a Domestic Violence High-Risk Team (DVHRT).

The Crisis Center of Comal County has been awarded a new grant to fund a Domestic Violence High-Risk Team (DVHRT).Big news for our community 💜

We’re honored to share that the Crisis Center of Comal County has been awarded a new grant to support a Domestic Violence High Risk Team (DVHRT).

This initiative brings key partners together to better identify and respond to the most dangerous domestic violence cases—before they become tragedies.

We recently held a collaborative meeting that included New Braunfels Police Department, Comal County Sheriff’s Office, the Comal County District Attorney’s Office, TCFV, MHDD, and our team at CCCC—all working together to strengthen how we respond to high-risk cases.

While TCFV was in town, they also joined us for a site visit and tour, getting a closer look at the work happening here in Comal County.

This is what it looks like when a community comes together to save lives.
