CCSO Deputy Shot Yesterday Undergoes Surgery at University Hospital

Comal County Sheriffs Office (CCSO) said it will post an update later today about Deputy Eddy Luna's condition and the status of its investigation into yesterday's shooting.
A Comal County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputy who was shot yesterday while serving a felony warrant in Spring Branch is recovering from surgery for non-life threatening injuries at University Hospital.
Deputy Eddy Luna was shot at a residence in the 1400 block of Springwood in Spring Branch. Luna was transported to the hospital by AirLife.
The suspect has not been identified. The incident is under investigation, according to Comal County Sheriff’s Office. Luna was with other deputies when the shooting occurred.
CCSO spokesperson Jennifer Smith said an update will be posted to CCSO’s Facebook page later today.
