CCSO Warns Car Theft Is on the Rise in Residential Neighborhoods

Comal County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reports an increase in vehicle burglaries in residential neighborhoods, countywide.
In a Facebook post today, CCSO said many of the burglarized vehicles were left unlocked by their owners.
CCSO urges residents to:
- Always lock your vehicle and take your keys.
- Never leave your car running and unattended.
- Park in a well-lit area.
- Take valuables with you when you are not in your vehicle.
- Keep valuables out of sight.
