Cheese Festival at Stahlman’s
Share

Gourmet cheese, Canyon Lake-style:
“This is very casual, bring yourself, some friends, some wine and just walk around shoving cheese in your mouth.”
And/or “learn a lot by talking to our very knowledgeable cheesemongers.”
So if you’ve ever needed a reason to pull over on the drive from New Braunfels to Canyon Lake, this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. would be a good time. Stahlmans at Bear Creek-Farm Stand and Pecans, is located at 5511 FM 2722, right across from the beautiful brewery.
Kids can enjoy a barrel train and a petting zoo featuring “brand-new” baby goats.
Cheeses for sampling:
Adults can sample Norwegian Jarlsbeg; Stilton Blue from England; Mimolette from Lille, France; and Iberico, Manchago cheese from the La Mancha region of Spain.
Also in the store will be vendors Paul Coletti selling olive oil; 18-year-old vinegars by Spicewoods, San Antonio-based Madge’s kimchi, sauerkraut and fermented Bloody Mary mix; and Bravado spice company’s spices.
