Seniors Win FFA Marketing Championship

Three seniors from Canyon Lake High School won the 2019 Texas FFA Marketing Plan state championship May 3 at Sam Houston State University.
Kenzy Hoffmann, Makenzie Knipe and Mia Smith will now advance to the National FFA Convention in late October.
The trio created an eight-page marketing plan, a 15-minute marketing pitch, and answered 10 minutes of rigorous questions regarding the agriculture business-of-choice.
The team’s plan and presentation featured a local trail-riding company.
The CLHS FFA adviser and agriculture teacher is Amanda Custy-Schaas.
