Canyon Lake Water Service Company (CLWSC) said its boil advisory remains in effect as a precautonary notice to all customers in Blanco and Comal counties.

Larry Jackson, director of Customer Service and Communications, said the utility still can’t determine all of the subdivisions impacted by the freeze so far.

“Some customers might have low or no pressure because of a customer-side leak,” he said. “And some customers might have had no water pressure but the water was restored but might need to be tested. So we issued a blanket notice for everyone. Until we can get water restored and sampled, the notice will be in effect until further notice.”

CLWSC asks customers to share this information with residents who might not have received a notice directly from the utility, including people in apartments, nursing homes, schools and businesses.
