Warming centers for residents without adequate heating will open at three locations in Comal County Saturday.
They include the CRRC of Canyon Lake’s Rec Center, 125 Mabel Jones Dr.
Other warming centers are located at NB Housing Partners, 4120 Loop 337, New Braunfels, 830-221-4630; and at the Westside Community Center, 2932 South I-35 Frontage Rd., New Braunfels, 830-221-4630.
Warming centers open when temperatures are below 45 degrees with precipitation or 40 degrees without precipitation.
A cold front arrives this weekend, bringing a hard freeze to much of the region by Sunday morning.
