Comal County Adds Eight New Cases of COVID-10 Friday

Residents wishing to be tested for COVID-19 can call the county's dedicated hotline, 830-221-1120 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment. Testing is only conducted on Tuesday and Friday by appointment only.
Comal County reported eight additional COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing its total to 3,701.
Of them, three are confirmed and five are probable. The seven-day positivity rate for Friday is 6.79%.
The county now has 97 active, confirmed-and-probable COVID-19 cases. Of those, six are hospitalized. The total recovered is 3,484.
On Friday, Comal County hospitals reported caring for five COVID-19 patients. One of those is in intensive care and one is on a ventilator.
