Comal County Adds Eight New COVID-19 Cases, Largest One-Day Total So Far

Comal County on Monday confirmed eight new cases of COVID-19, its largest one-day total so far.
This brings to 108 the number of cases reported in the county, the Office of Public Health said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
Seven of the cases are from New Braunfels, ranging in age from their 30s through their 60s, and the eighth is a central Comal County resident in their 50s, the county said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
All are home-isolating except a New Braunfels resident in their 30s who is hospitalized in New Braunfels.
The county also confirmed one recovery from COVID-19, for a total of 79. With seven deaths, the county now has 22 active COVID-19 cases, five of them hospitalized.
