Comal County Animal Control says two cats recently tested positive for rabies and reminds the public to vaccinate all pets.
Those who care for feral cats that have not been spayed or neutered are asked to contact Animal Control for information about Trap-Neuter-Release, which provides a rabies vaccine during the neutering process.
In a public-service announcement posted to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page today, Animal Control warned residents against approaching any animal that appears to be acting strangely or ill.
