Comal County Confirms 22 New Cases of COVID-19, Adds Another 13 ‘Backlogged’

Comal County reported 35 additional cases of COVID-19 today but said 13 of them are “backlogged” cases that weren’t counted before.
Of the 22 new cases, 19 are confirmed and three are probable. The seven-day positivity rate for Tuesday is 10.03%.
The county now has 151 active, confirmed-and-probable COVID-19 cases. Of them, eight are hospitalized.
There are four COVID-19 patients hospitalized in county hospitals. Two of them are in intensive care and on ventilators. There are no cases of COVID-19 in nursing homes.
County also reported another 84 patients recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total amount reported since March to 3,199.
There are now 3,466 confirmed-and-probable COVID-19 cases.
