Comal County Confirms Eighth Case of COVID-19

An eighth positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Comal County.

The case is travel-related; the patient became symptomatic after traveling internationally. The patient is in their 50s and lives in western Comal County, according to a press release issued at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 26.

As of 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, Comal County’s Office of Public Health has received reports of 111 tests conducted, including the eight positive results. Sixty-nine negative tests have been reported, and 34 are still pending. Three of the eight patients have recovered and been released from isolation.
