Comal County Confirms Second Case of COVID-19

A second person has tested positive for COVID-19 and has self-quarantined, Comal County said today.

A second positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Comal County.

In a press release issued at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, the county said its Office of Public Health is investigating the patient’s recent history and contacts to determine how they contracted the novel coronavirus.

The patient has self-quarantined since receiving the positive test, which was confirmed late Thursday to the Office of Public Health.

As of 5 p.m. Thursday, Comal County had received reports from state and local laboratories of 34 tests conducted, including the two positive results.
