Comal County constables are competing for “bragging rights” to see which precinct can collect the most non-perishable food items during the July 1-Aug. 1 Constable’s Food Drive.
Pct. 4 County Constable Ali Flores, whose jurisdiction includes the south side of Canyon Lake, said the food will be donated to the Hope Center Food Pantry in Spring Branch.
“Your contribution to the Constable’s Food Drive can make a real difference and provide hunger relief for Canyon Lake, Spring Branch, and New Braunfels communities,” she posted on social media. “Now we made this a competition between all the Comal constable offices, so naturally I know that Comal County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office will take the win. Am I right?”
Food items can be dropped off at constables’ offices:
- Precinct 1 – 145 David Jonas Dr., New Braunfels
- Precinct 2 – 30470 Cougar Bend, Bulverde
- Precinct 3 – 3079 W. San Antonio St., New Braunfels
- Precinct 4 – 160 Oak Dr., Sattler/Canyon Lake
