Commissioners Court did not issue a burn ban at today’s weekly meeting.
Comal County Fire Marshal Kory Klabunde said Tuesday night/Wednesday morning rains dropped the Keetch-Byram Drought Index (KBDI) below the 500-point threshold used to implement a burn ban.
However, County Judge Sherman Krause could implement a burn ban at next week’s meeting.
