Comal County Reports 100th Case of COVID-19
Comal County reported its 100th case of COVID-19 today.
The New Braunfels resident, who is in their 50s, is self-isolating.
In a statement, the county also confirmed nine recoveries from COVID-19, including three previously hospitalized patients, bringing that total to 78. With seven deaths, the county now has 15 active COVID-19 cases. Four individuals remain hospitalized.
“We are still getting new COVID-19 cases,” Donna Eccleston, Comal County Commissioner Pct. 1 posted on Facebook. “This is our 100th case. Typically 100 is a number to celebrate but not in these circumstances. Let’s celebrate the recoveries and think of our four people still hospitalized. Please take care.”
Eccleston represents the south side of Canyon Lake on Commissioners Court.
