Comal County Reports 119 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

Comal County reported 119 new COVID-19 cases today, bringing the county total since March 2020 to 20,772.
These cases were recorded on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The number of deceased remains 474.
Hospitals today are caring for nine COVID-19 patients. Of those four are in intensive care. There are no patients on ventilators. None of these patients are vaccinated. Not all COVID-positive patients in Comal County hospitals are necessarily county residents.
The percentage of fully vaccinated (two shots) residents in Comal County is 61.49%.
The county’s Public Health Department is administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for those 18 and older, and Pfizer vaccines for anyone five years and up. Booster vaccines also are available.
