Comal County Reports 12th Positive Case of COVID-19

Share

Comal County on Wednesday said it doesn’t know how an eastern Comal County man in his 60s became the 12th positive case of COVID-19.

The county did not release any further information about the individual, who is self-quarantined at home.

“The patient traveled internationally in the weeks before symptom onset, but the amount of time between travel and symptoms makes it difficult to determine whether they contracted the virus overseas or locally,” said Cheryl Fraser, Comal County director of public health. “Regardless, it remains essential that everyone in Comal County stay home if at all possible and help stop the spread of COVID-19.”

Wednesday’s Statistics

As of Wednesday morning, Comal County’s Office of Public Health has received reports of the following test information:

173 tests conducted
12 positive tests
107 negative tests
54 results still pending
