Comal County Friday reported 166 new COVID-19 cases for the seven days between Sept. 2-8.
In its weekly report, the county said the total number of cases reported since March 2020 is 35,501.
Four COVID-positive patients were hospitalized over the seven-day data collection period.
No new deaths were reported to the Public Health Department this week. The total number of deceased remains 565.
Some 62.36% of county residents are fully vaccinated (two shots).
Data for the percentage of fully vaccinated residents in Comal County now includes all residents ages six months and older.
