Comal County Reports 18 New COVID-19 Cases, Death of New Braunfels Woman Thursday

A New Braunfels woman in her 70s died of COVID-19 at a San Antonio hospital on Nov. 11, Comal County said in a statement today.
Also reported are 18 new cases of the virus, for a total of 19,971 since the county started keeping records in March 2020. The total number of deceased is 463.
On Thursday, Comal County hospitals reported caring for 10 COVID-19 patients. Two are in intensive care and two are on ventilators. Not all COVID-positive patients hospitalized in Comal County are necessarily county residents.
The percentage of fully vaccinated Comal County residents is 59.67%.
The Public Health Department is administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for those 18 and older, and Pfizer vaccines for any one five years and older.
